Since 2002, Taunya Richards has served as a board treasurer and accounting consultant.  In 2017, she started training as an appraiser assistant under Jeff Richards and obtained her appraiser license in 2019. Taunya enjoys appraising properties on the Oregon Coast, especially Lincoln City, and plans to continue appraising in Tillamook, and Lincoln counties.

Jeff Richards has been appraising for 30+ years in the Portland market area. His expertise in appraisal knowledge is vast. Currently he appraises in Tillamook and Lincoln counties.

Kyle Cape-Lindelin

Certified Residential Appraiser

Kyle Cape-Lindelin is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser for the State of Oregon at Sunset Valley Appraisal Group, trained by the owner Jeff Richards. Kyle has extensive experience in the Portland Metro area for all residential appraisal needs with a commitment to accuracy, professionalism, on-time appointments, and turn-times. Prior to his employment at Sunset Valley Appraisal Group and following graduation from the University of Portland, Kyle began working at Sunset Valley Appraisal Group as front desk and moved up through several positions including orders, conditions coordinator and the quality control department. During his time at Sunset Valley Appraisal Group, he was able to gain extensive knowledge of USPAP/Fannie Mae regulations, lender/Client needs and emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and quality for appraisal reports. This history in the real estate appraisal industry helped gain insight and knowledge in starting appraisal training. When not appraising, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and friends, loving all sports, reading, history, and movies.

Cooper Mendenhall

Certified Residential Appraiser

Cooper was born and raised in the Portland area, and has been in the real estate industry since 2015. With over 7 years of real estate experience, he is well versed in the multi-faceted marketplace of the greater Portland-Metro market area. He views the constantly evolving appraisal practice as a fun challenge, and pushes to be on the cutting edge of technological advances in the appraisal industry. Having trained at Sunset Valley Appraisal Group, Cooper has been exposed to a wide variety of complex properties including: rural, high-value, water-front and estate. He is FHA approved and looks forward to expanding his appraisal practices for years to come. In his spare time, Cooper enjoys watching his favorite basketball team the Portland Trail Blazers.
